Branch Councillors constitute ACTRA Montreal’s Leadership. Elected representatives participate in monthly meetings of the Branch Council. They also participate actively by contributing time and energy to various committees and branch initiatives. It is a volunteer position. The term of the Branch Council is two years.
 
Once elected, the new Branch Council will select, from amongst its members, a President, a Vice-President, a Treasurer and a Secretary. From the Branch Council, they will also select three National Councillors to represent the Montreal Branch on ACTRA’s National Council.

  • If you wish to stand as a candidate for the 2026-2028 ACTRA Montreal Branch Council election, please complete the form here.
  • Please note, two different ACTRA Montreal Full Members in good standing must also nominate and second you as a candidate. 
  • Nominated must also submit a candidate statement of no more than 150 words via the form and send their headshot to montreal@atra.ca
