Talent agents represent the interests of their clients in the entertainment industry. They work on behalf of their client and provide important services such as casting searches, negotiations, overseeing contracts and agreements with producers, and career advice for performers. The Entertainment Industry Coalition (EIC) brings together many different organizations in the Canadian cultural sector. Members include ACTRA, the Canadian Actors’ Equity Association (or “Equity”), TAMAC (an association of talent agents), and the CDC (an association of casting directors).

A “(T)” next to an agent’s or agency’s name indicates it is a member of TAMAC.

The Code of Ethical Conduct

The Code of Ethical Conduct for Talent and Background Agents establishes ethical and professional standards for Canadian talent agents.
