Montreal, June 1st, 2026 – On June 12th, ACTRA Montreal will unveil the winners of the 15th edition of the ACTRA Awards in Montreal at Theatre Gesu. This ceremony which takes place every two years, recognizes outstanding performances by ACTRA Montreal members and celebrate accomplishments and excellence in our film, television and video game industry.
Thirty nominees will be celebrated for their outstanding work across five performance categories – Film, Television, Stunts, Dubbing, and Video Games – along with 3 special awards recipients.

MEET THE PRESENTERS
ACTRA Montreal Award of Excellence
- Karine Vanasse (Plan B, Cardinal & Hidden Assets) will present her friend Jacob Tierney (creator Heated Rivalry, Letter Kenny) with the 2026 ACTRA Montreal Award of Excellence. Karine and Jacob most recently worked together on the Canadian edition of The Traitors, where Jacob acts as Executive Producer.
Walter Massey Breakthrough Artist Award
- Stunt Performer and Actor, Fred Nguyen Khan will present Duy Nguyen with the 2026 Walter Massey Breakthrough Artist Award. A distinction that shines a light on a performer who has made a name for themselves through hard work and commitment to their craft.
- Both Fred and Duy worked together on Park Chan-Wook’s HBO series The Sympathizer alongside Robert Downey Junior and Sandra Oh.
Outstanding Performance in TV Award Presenters:
Two familiar faces from CBS’s Ghosts:
- Tristan D. Lalla, everyone’s favorite construction worker on the hit TV show. Tristan is also nominated for Outstanding Performance in a Video Game
- Cat Lemieux, the friendly but gross Cholera Ghost.
Outstanding Performance in Film
- Juliette Gariepy and Robert Naylor, Mile End Kicks rocky relationship duo
Outstanding Stunt Performance Award
- Naomi Frenette and Sephania Alexandre will co‑present this award.
- Naomi is a three‑time Taurus World Stunt Award nominee and recipient of the 2015 ACTRA Montreal Outstanding Stunt Performance Award. Sephania is an emerging talent.
- Despite being at very different stages of their careers, they share a unique bond: both are following in the footsteps of their fathers — Naomi, the daughter of Jean Frenette, and Sephania, the daughter of Rodney Alexandre. Together, they embody both the legacy and the future of Quebec’s stunt community.
Outstanding Performance in Dubbing Award
- Jennifer Miller, who won last year for her work on Mexican mystery drama series, Tryptich.
Outstanding Performance in a Video Game Award
- The voice of Princess Zelda, the iconic Patricia Summerset
