ACTRA Montreal’s Intimacy Subcommittee was created from the ACTRA Montreal’s Women’s Committee with the aim to:

• Empower performers
• Educate performers to know their rights
• Provide strategies to enforce performers’ rights
• Identify potential issues and what to do

The subcommittee has developed an Intimacy Pamphlet, to serve as reference for performers to know their rights, what is required by production, what is negotiable, red flags and other resources. The pamphlet also gives a detailed idea on what to expect when working with experienced Intimacy Coordinators.
